What qualifications do I need for a pharma job in Ireland?
Most entry-level quality and manufacturing roles require a Level 7 or Level 8 science degree (Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry or Engineering). Manufacturing operator roles often accept a Level 6 qualification with GMP training. Senior validation, regulatory and QA roles typically expect three to five years of GMP experience.
Do I need Irish work authorisation for pharma jobs in Ireland?
EU and EEA citizens can work in Ireland without a visa. Non-EEA nationals need a Critical Skills Employment Permit or a General Employment Permit.
