Condition(s) studied
Investigational drug(s) / intervention(s)
ACTIWORK questionnaire: Short questionnaire assessing physical activity and sedentary behavior, including leisure-time and occupational physical activity, sitting time, and work-related characteristics. The questionnaire is administered twice, approximately one week apart, for test-retest assessment.
Recent Physical Activity Questionnaire (RPAQ): Reference questionnaire assessing physical activity during the previous four weeks, including physical activity at home, at work, during commuting, and during leisure time. The RPAQ is administered twice, approximately one week apart.
REPEAS questionnaire: Questionnaire assessing environmental and personal barriers to regular physical activity. The questionnaire includes 12 items covering environmental and personal factors that may limit regular physical activity and is administered twice, approximately one week apart.
Study summary
Validated physical activity questionnaires are often long and time-consuming, particularly when assessing both leisure-time and occupational physical activity and sedentary behavior.
The ACTIWORK study aims to validate a short questionnaire assessing physical activity at work and during leisure time, as well as sedentary behavior, by comparison with the reference Recent Physical Activity Questionnaire (RPAQ).
Participants will complete the study questionnaires twice, approximately one week apart, to assess the consistency of their responses over time.
