APC (Applied Process Company) is a Dublin-based pharmaceutical process development organization, spun out of UCD in 2011 by Dr. Mark Barrett and Prof. Brian Glennon. It focuses on process development and scale-up rather than commercial manufacturing itself — GMP manufacturing is handled by sister company VLE Therapeutics as part of their joint 'Medicine Accelerator' campus. A €100M expansion announced in 2024 is adding 300 R&D jobs and a new 130,000 sq ft building.
