Primary outcome measure(s)
- The Psychological Resilience Scale by Connor and Davidson (Davidson-Connor), adapted by Singh and Nan Yu (2010) and translated to Arabic by Ahmed Elbaiomy. — From enrollment to the end of the program at 3 months (total of 12 sessions)
The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) defines resilience through several dimensions, each capturing a different psychological strength: hardiness, optimism, resourcefulness, and purpose/goal. Together, they measure how individuals adapt and thrive under stress. The scale consists of 25 items. Responses are given from the following options: * Very high degree * High degree * Moderate degree * Low degree * Very low degree Each item is scored from 5 points down to 1 point. The highest possible score is 125 (25 items × 5 points). The lowest possible score is 25 (25 items × 1 point). High scores indicate strong resilience, while low scores indicate weak resilience.
