Comparative Study Between the Effects of Deep Versus Moderate Neuromuscular Blockade on Postoperative Recovery and Immune Function in Patients Undergoing Total Hip Replacement Surgery.
Condition(s) studied
Investigational drug(s) / intervention(s)
ToF ( Train of Four) Scan: Depth of NMB will be monitored continuously using the ToFScan. The target NMB depth will be maintained until skin closure
Study summary
. The investigators hypothesized that DNMB ( Deep NeuroMuscular Block) would yield superior postoperative recovery quality and attenuate the surgery-induced immune suppression compared to MNMB ( Moderate NeuroMuscular Block)in patients undergoing THA (Total Hip Arthroplasty).
Eligibility
Primary outcome measure(s)
- Quality of Recovery-15 (QoR-15) — 24 hours post operative
